BOARDMAN -- A family dinner party was held April 21 at the Youngstown Country Club to honor Mr. and Mrs. Dorse O. Seiple, 7538 Huntington Drive, who were celebrating their 65th wedding anniversary.
Serving as hosts for the occasion were the couple's children and their spouses, Mr. and Mrs. C. Reid Schmutz of Boardman and Mr. and Mrs. Dorse O. Seiple III of Evanston, Ill. There are also five grandchildren in the family.
The former Lillian Rhodes and Mr. Seiple were married April 18, 1936, at Trinity United Methodist Church, Youngstown, where they are members.
Mrs. Seiple, a homemaker, is a member of North Hill Study Club, the Christian Women's Club, Boardman Garden Club and AARP Chapter 4545.
Mr. Seiple retired in 1977 from his position as manager of safety and personnel after 41 years of service at Standard Slag Co. in Youngstown. He is a member of Hillman Masonic Lodge 481, the Chatterbox Club, Aut Mori Grotto, the Curbstone Coaches and AARP Chapter 4545.
