RUTH E. DAVIS, 84

AUSTINTOWN -- Services will be at 9:30 a.m. Monday at Higgins-Reardon Funeral Home, Austintown, and at 10 a.m. in St. Joseph Church for Ruth E. Davis, 84, of 4268 Patricia Ave., who died late Thursday in Forum Health North Side Medical Center.
Mrs. Davis was born April 24, 1916, in Zanesville, a daughter of Alfred and Lena Neher, and came to this area as a child. She was a 1934 graduate of Struthers High School, and worked as a cashier for Loblaw's Food Stores in Boardman. She attended the church, and was a member of the 37th Division Auxiliary Veterans Organization of World War II.
Besides her husband, Edgar, whom she married in 1960, she leaves two sons, Edward J. Wells Sr. of Austintown and Ronald P. Wells of Crown King, Ariz.; a brother, Allen Neher of Struthers; nine grandchildren; and 15 great-grandchildren.
A daughter, Louella Horvath, a sister, Louella Swick and three brothers, Alfred, Francis and James Neher are deceased.
Friends may call from 5 to 8 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home.
