X4-H Saddle Horse Advisers will meet at 7 p.m. Tuesday at Ohio State University Trumbull County Extension Office.
CLASSES
XSouth High School June Class of 1944 will meet for a luncheon at 1 p.m. Tuesday at the Ground Round, South Avenue, Boardman. The members, who are marking their 75th birthdays, will discuss plans for a birthday party at 6:30 p.m. June 1 at the Saxon Club pavilion, Meridian Road, Youngstown. Prior to the event a tour of the former South High School, now Eagle Heights Academy, will be conducted at 4:30. All class members are welcome. XStruthers High School January and June Classes of 1943 will meet for a luncheon at 1 p.m. April 27 at The Elmton in Struthers.
CLUBS
XAmerican Hungarian Club, Donald Avenue, will hold a business meeting at 2:30 p.m. Sunday at the clubhouse. Julius Cosma will preside.
XLe Circle Francais will present the first of a French film series at 6 p.m. Tuesday in the meeting room of Youngstown Main Library, corner of Wick and Rayen avenues. The film, "Mr. Hulot's Holiday," stars the French comedian Jacques Tati and has English subtitles. Admission is free and open to the public. XPoland Extension Homemakers will meet at 10 a.m. Tuesday at Poland Presbyterian Church. A talk on wills, trusts and probate will be given by Atty. Robert N. Rusu of Mahoning County Bar Association. Members are reminded to take a lunch and crochet projects. There will be a collection of $6.75 for the Achievement Day luncheon to be held Thursday. Guests are welcome. XQuota International of Youngstown will have a dinner meeting at 6 p.m. Monday at Park Vista. Guests will be Quota governor Daryl Perrine of Wooster and lieutenant governor Mary Prebish of Massillon. The program will be "Taking Quota's Pulse." Elaine Garde will preside.
XWest Farmington Pythian Sisters Liberty Temple 185 will meet at 7:30 p.m. Thursday at K. of P. Hall.
XYoungstown Business and Professional Women will meet Tuesday at Bruno's Restaurant, Poland. Networking will be conducted at 5:30 p.m. with the dinner at 6. The speaker will be Connie Shaffer, executive director of the YWCA of Youngstown, who will talk about the YWCA's role in meeting the community needs of women and children. GRANGES
XDublin Grange 1409 will meet at 7 p.m. Tuesday for an observance of National Grange Week. Members with 50, 55, 60, 65 and 85 years of attendance, past masters and new members will be honored. A joint meeting and casserole dinner will be held by granges in Mahoning and Columbiana counties at 7 p.m. Monday with Chester McCormick as guest speaker.
GUILDS
XLorraine Milanek will preside for the 10 a.m. and 7:30 p.m. meetings Tuesday of the Embroiderers Guild of America at the IOOF Hall in Canfield. A crazy quilt Easter egg will be the featured project.
