BOARDMAN -- Services will be at 10:30 a.m. Monday at Fox Funeral Home and 11 a.m. in St. Charles Church for Cathy Anne Farkas, 53, of 2603 Harmon Park Circle, Duluth, Ga., formerly of Youngstown and Baltimore who died of cancer Tuesday morning at Peachtree Hospice in Dunwoody, Ga.
Mrs. Farkas was born July 1, 1947, in Youngstown, a daughter of Joseph Warren and Norinne Anne Lyden Finch. She left Youngstown in 1983 for Baltimore and then moved to Georgia in 2000.
She was a member of the church. She graduated from Cardinal Mooney High School in 1965. She was regional manager of Great West Life Insurance Company in Duluth, Ga. Before that she was the customer service manager for Blue Cross Blue Shield of Maryland and customer service manager for American General Insurance in Maryland.
Besides her father of Largo, Fla., she leaves her husband, Charles J. Farkas Sr., whom she married June 4, 1977; two sons, Charles J. Jr., of Youngstown and Thomas M. of Havre de Grace, Md.; two daughters, Karen Wilson of Youngstown and Kimberly Armbrecht of Streetsboro; a brother, Michael W. Finch of Largo, Fla.; and nine grandchildren.
A sister, Madonna Finch, is deceased.
Friends may call from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Friday at Shimunek Funeral Home, 610 West MacPhail Road, Bel Air, Md., and from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Sunday at Fox Funeral Home in Boardman.
