JOHN E. FERGUSON, 82 Owned, operated Warren Furnace Co.

WARREN -- Services will be at 11 a.m. Monday at Crown Hill Burial Park Chapel, Vienna, for John E. Ferguson, 82, of 844 Shadowood Lane S.E., Howland, who died of congestive heart failure in Saint Elizabeth Health Center, Youngstown.
Mr. Ferguson was born Nov. 17, 1918, in Youngstown, a son of John W. and Margaret M. Sutton Ferguson, and lived most of his life in the area.
He owned and operated Warren Furnace Co. for 39 years before retiring in 1981. He served in the Army during World War II, was a member of the VFW in Warren, and was a Presbyterian.
He leaves his wife, the former Helen Sotak, whom he married Jan. 1, 1941; a son, John E. Jr. of Goodlettsville, Tenn.; a daughter, Betty Jane Stadiler in California; five grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.
A sister and a great-grandchild are deceased.
Friends may call for one hour before the service Monday at the cemetery chapel. Arrangements are by Selby-Cole Funeral Home in Vienna.
