TERRY L. MALONE, 60

LEETONIA -- Services will be at 10:30 a.m. Thursday at Oliver-Linsley Funeral Home for Terry L. Malone, 60, of 3219 Lisbon-Canfield Road, formerly of East Palestine, who died Tuesday morning at the home of his niece in East Palestine after a long illness.
Mr. Malone was born March 7, 1941, in East Liverpool, a son of Harry L. and Esther Pearl Pearson Malone.
He was a Marine Corps veteran, serving three tours of duty in the Vietnam War and receiving three Purple Heart medals.
He was a member of The First United Presbyterian Church, East Palestine Moose Lodge, Leetonia American Legion Post 131, AMVETS Post 45 and Disabled American Veterans Post 122, both of Salem, and New Waterford Eagles Lodge.
His wife, the former Mabel R. Fox, whom he married Aug. 20, 1963, died Nov. 9, 1989.
He leaves two brothers, Thomas of New York and Richard of Alabama; six sisters, Margaret Altenhof and Iona Smith, both of Florida, Lois Jean Lynn and Sue Walker, both of East Liverpool, Joyce Warrick of Lisbon and Pearl Weber of Washingtonville; and three grandchildren.
A stepson, Edward Glass, and two brothers, Harry L. Malone Jr. and David A. Mundy, are deceased.
Friends may call from one hour before services at the funeral home. Military honors will be conducted by the American Legion and VFW of East Palestine.
Contributions may be made to children's funds of organizations he belonged to, or the church.
