DOROTHY J. CARLON, 76

BOARDMAN -- Services will be at 9:30 a.m. Monday at Fox Funeral Home and 10 a.m. in St. Patrick Church in Youngstown for Dorothy J. Carlon, 76, of 5601 Erie St., formerly of Dover Road, who died Tuesday morning at her residence.
Mrs. Carlon was born Feb. 2, 1925, in Youngstown, a daughter of Joseph and Jule Maley Hampstead, and was a lifelong area resident.
She worked at Gray Drug and J.C. Penney as a sales clerk and was a homemaker.
She was a member of the church and a life member of American Legion Post 162 in Deerfield Beach, Fla.
Her first husband, Jack Kennedy, whom she married in 1947, died September 4, 1956. Her husband, Eugene T. Carlon, whom she married September 17, 1966, died April 14, 1991.
She leaves two daughters, Patricia Kennedy of Pompano Beach, Fla., and Kathleen Gragorace of Greenville, Ohio; three sisters, Peggy Smith of Austintown, Kitty McCabe of Boardman and Irene Daus of Akron.
Two sisters, Jean Majors and Mary Thompson, are deceased.
Friends may call from 5 to 8 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home.
