HERMITAGE, Pa. -- Services will be at 10 a.m. Wednesday in St. Joseph Church, Sharon, for Helen L. Popadak, 87, of Manchester Lodge, Erie, formerly of Meadowbrook Drive, Hermitage, who died Sunday morning in the lodge after a long illness.
Mrs. Popadak was born June 18, 1913, in Sharon, a daughter of George and Mary Stofko Yobe.
A graduate of Sacred Heart School, she worked in the office of the Westinghouse Corporation's Sharon Transformer Division for four years and was a clerk in the Boston Store in Sharon for 12 years. She was a member of the church and its Catholic Daughters of America.
Her husband, Andrew J., whom she married June 20, 1936, died May 14, 1993.
She leaves a son, William A. of Erie; two grandchildren; and a great-grandchild.
A sister, Ann Lazor, and a brother, George Yobe, are deceased.
Friends may call from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. today at Sherman Funeral Home, Hermitage.
