YOUNGSTOWN -- Services will be at 10:30 a.m. Wednesday at McVean & amp; Hughes Funeral Home and at 11 a.m. in Immaculate Conception Church for Catherine R. Curran, 93, of 1203 Himrod Ave., who died late Sunday in Colonial Manor Nursing Home.
Miss Curran was born July 31, 1907, in Youngstown, a daughter of Joseph L. and Mary Cullen Curran, and was a lifelong area resident.
A 1926 graduate of The Rayen School, she retired in 1978 as supervisor of the nursing homes in Mahoning County for the Ohio Department of Human Services, where she worked for 43 years. She was a member of the church and Catholic Daughters of America.
Among others, she leaves a sister, Josephine M. Curran.
Three sisters, Nora D. Curran, Ann C. Hughes and Rose McHale, are deceased.
Friends may call from 4 to 7 p.m. today at the funeral home.
