POLAND -- Mr. and Mrs. Charles A. Whitmore of Poland marked their 50th wedding anniversary by renewing their marriage vows before being honored during a dinner reception March 31 at the Holiday Inn South in Boardman.
Hosts for the festivity were the honorees' children and their spouses, Kip and Doris Whitmore of Clementon, N.J.; Kim and Manny Campos of Boardman; and Kris and Debra Whitmore of Poland. The family circle includes four grandchildren and one great-grandson.
The former Nancy J. Thomas and Mr. Whitmore were married March 31, 1951, at St. Paul Evangelical Church in Youngstown.
Mr. Whitmore retired after 20 years as the manager of electrical sales at Wheatland Tube Co., Collingswood, N.J.
