Coach: Mike Kopachy
With nine returning starters and 20 returning lettermen, Western Reserve should be in the mix for the league title. Junior quarterback Shane Ewing was terrific last season, throwing for 1,800 yards and 18 TDs, while adding 600 yards on the ground and 11 TDs. Joe Procick, a four-year starter at tackle, leads the line, while wideout Clayton Hull — a second-team all ITCL pick last season after leading team in receiving yards, receptions and TDs — should have another big year. The key for the Blue Devils will be defense. It was a weak point last season and needs to be better.
