The board of directors of the United Way of Trumbull County has hired Ginny Pasha as chief executive officer.

Pasha replaces Tom Krysiek, who retires June 30 after 30 years of service.

Pasha has served as president of Junior Achievement and of Youth Employability Solutions. She also was the state development coordinator for Buckeye Jobs for Ohio’s Graduates.

For the past eight years, she has been the director of community impact for United Way of Youngstown and the Mahoning Valley. She has received numerous awards and recognition for her work, including being recognized twice by Junior Achievement National for program growth, fiscal responsibility and overall management effectiveness.

Pasha, a lifelong Trumbull County resident, will be the first female CEO in the organization’s 90-year history.

“The board is very excited to have Ginny leading the organization in our efforts to address the health and human-service needs in our county,” said John Guarnieri, chairman of the board of the United Way of Trumbull County. “She is well-respected and knowledgeable of both the United Way organization and the Trumbull County community.”

The search committee conducted an extensive nationwide search.
