Bicyclist hit by car in Neshannock

NESHANNOCK, Pa.

Township police say a bicyclist was treated at Jameson Memorial Hospital after being in an accident with a car early Thursday morning.

A news release from the department said that Jill Allison, 35, of Lilac Drive in New Castle, was northbound on Wilmington Road at about 5:45 a.m. when a southbound pick- up truck driven by 75-year-old Richard Parry of Sankey Lane in New Castle turned from the center turning lane into the path of Allison and collided with her bicycle.

Parry will be cited for careless driving, police said.
