Another counterfeit bill turns up in Boardman

An employee at the Taco Bell on route 224 told police she received a $10 counterfeit bill from a customer Tuesday afternoon.

She alerted the customer who l told the employee she just received the bill as change from the Giant Eagle in Boardman.

The grocery store was hit by two men a couple weeks ago who purchased Western Union money orders using thousands of dollars of counterfeit bills.

Police logged the counterfeit money into evidence.
