Austintown mission finds Moore love

AUSTINTOWN

Mission of Love Foundation is starting a “Love for Moore” campaign to collect money, aid and new quilts for those in need in the aftermath of the tornadoes in Moore, Okla.

Mission of Love has been doing all-volunteer service work for more than 25 years.

Drop-off sites for the next week will be at Handel’s Ice Cream stores, and canisters for money at the Austintown, Boardman and Poland stores were placed Wednesday.

The following supplies are needed: diapers, sheets, blankets, towels, T-shirts all sizes gently used and washed, dog and cat food, first-aid supplies, water, sports drinks, personal-hygiene items, Advil, Motrin, Tylenol, Children’s Motrin, shampoo, deodorant, toys in good condition or new, plastic tableware, cups and plates, toilet paper and paper towels, children’s summer clothes and shoes boxed and labeled as to size and boy or girl.
