Salvation Army annual civic dinner is Wednesday

POLAND — The Salvation Army of Mahoning County’s 2013 Civic Dinner is at 6 p.m. Wednesday at the Lake Club, 1140 Paulin Road.

Local individuals and organizations will be recognized for their commitment to service in the Mahoning Valley. They are Fred Stillwagon, Others Award; Gus Giannois, Distinguished Community Service Award; and GM Lordstown Complex Paint Shop, United Autoworkers Local 1112, Distinguished Community Service Award.

The event is in conjunction with National Salvation Army Week, which is this week.

Individual tickets are $70, with a portion being tax deductible. Proceeds will be used to send 60 needy campers to camp this summer. For information, call 330-746-8403.
