Pretrial and trial dates set for couple charged in death of Teddy Foltz, 14


YOUNGSTOWN — Zaryl G. Bush and Shain Widdersheim, both charged in the death of 14-year-old Teddy Foltz, briefly appeared today in Mahoning County Common Pleas Court. Judge R. Scott Krichbaum cleared up some administrative issues in the case and set future court dates for both.

Both will be back in court for another pretrial June 19, and their trials are tentatively set for June 24.

Bush, 42, is charged with murdering and feloniously assaulting Foltz on Jan. 21; four counts of child endangering pertaining to Teddy; one count each of endangering Teddy's 10-year-old twin brothers; two counts of intimidating a witness related to one of the twins; and one count of tampering with evidence.

Widdersheim, Bush's former girlfriend, is charged with manslaughter and obstructing justice in Teddy's death, two counts of child endangering pertaining to Teddy, and one count each of child endangering pertaining to the twins. Widdersheim is the mother of all three boys.
