Tickets still available for transplant effort

A Jeff’s Cause Quarter auction to help pay for Jeff Joseph’s kidney transplant will take place Friday at The Reserve (the former K of C hall), 1057 Illinois Ave.

Doors open at 6:30 p.m. and the auction will start at 7.

Admission is $5, and the event is for adults only.

The couple learned recently that Joseph’s wife is a match and will be donating a kidney to him.

Students at Roosevelt Elementary school have raised $1,063.57 in quarters.

The committee is looking for someone to match that figure.

Raffle tickets are available for $10 each.
