Man hospitalized after crash on 711

YOUNGSTOWN

City police are investigating a Saturday evening accident involving a man traveling the wrong way on Route 711.

The man, whose identity wasn’t available, went the wrong way on the 711 off-ramp onto Martin Luther King Boulevard at about 6:15 p.m.

He avoided one car but struck another.

The man was transported to St. Elizabeth Health Center.

No one else was injured.
