Team Burke preps for 2013 Relay

Team Burke will be participating in the Boardman Relay for Life on May 17-18.

The team, comprised of teenage Irish Dancers, is aided by their parents and two adult friends who been involved in Relay for a number of years. Each year, Team Burke raises money and walks in the event to help defeat cancer.

Support from friends and the community has been impressive, as Team Burke raised $8,350 in 2010, $8,861 in 2011 and $15,000 in 2012.

The 2013 team includes Rachel Kepley (captain), Mary Kate Kelty, Erin and Kara Loomis, Lauren Kepley, Alexis Jacob, Jenny and Rachel Beil, Kristen Eckman, Christine Kerrigan, Breanne Donoghue, Kayla Mehle, Sarah Miller, Isabel Stoeber, Brianna and Ashley Thompson and Linda Tanksley.
