The Rotary Club of Canfield held its semi-annual Poorest of the Poor Clothing Drive at Canfield Village Middle School May 4.

The organization, in conjunction with PumpHouse Ministries, of Ashland, Ohio, collected used clothing which will be taken to the PumpHouse men’s shelter and distributed to those in need.

Volunteers from the Rotary Club of Canfield and PumpHouse Ministries were on hand to unload any donations which were dropped off.

According to Tom Christoff, chairman of the Poorest of the Poor Clothing Drive, the event has been held for at least 15 years.

During the clothing drive, Rotarians were also available to pick up bags and boxes from houses within the city and township limits.
