ISU doesn't pick Dunn; YSU decision expected later


NORMAL, ILL. — Illinois State University tapped the president of a Massachusetts university as its 18th president.

The university announced on its website this morning that Timothy Flanagan, president of Framingham State University in Framingham, Mass., has been selected.

Randy Dunn, one of three finalists to be president of Youngstown State University, was also a finalist for the ISU presidency. Dunn is president of Murray State University in Murray, Ky.

YSU trustees are expected to meet at 3 p.m. today and may select a president.
