Animal fundraisers set for May 18

WARREN

Strut Your Mutt Dog Walk, to aid animal rescues in Trumbull County, will take place from 1 to 2:30 p.m. May 18 at Packard Park Shelter House, 1703 Mahoning Ave.

Registration will begin at 12:30 p.m., and the walk starts at 1 p.m. The first 25 entrants will get a free T-shirt. The entry fee is $5. Call 330-330-8166 for information.

From noon to 6 p.m., a “spay-ghetti” dinner will be served for $10 each at the door or for $8 in advance. Children 5 and under will eat free. Carryouts will be available. There also will be a basket auction.

The dinner will benefit Cats Are People, Too! Club, Friends for Paws, TNR of Warren and Weeping Willow German Shepherd Sanctuary.
