Youngstown police investigating South Side shooting

YOUNGSTOWN

Youngstown police are investigating a suspected shooting on the city’s South Side early Thursday morning.

Police were called to the 200 block of East Auburndale Avenue shortly after 6 a.m. to investigate the incident. At least one person has been taken to the hospital. There is no word on victim conditions, but they do not appear to be life threatening.

Police were questioning several people shortly after the incident.
