Hubbard

Due to a waterline break, Trumbull County water customers in Hubbard Township on White Oak Drive are advised to boil water used for consumption until further notice. Any water used for drinking or ingestion should be boiled for three to five minutes. For information, contact the county sanitary engineer’s office at 330-675-2775.

Fair at YWCA

Youngstown

The YWCA of Youngstown and the Mahoning County Financial Stability Partnership will host an Empowerment and Financial Fair from 9 a.m. to noon Saturday at the YWCA, 25 W. Rayen Ave.

Educational sessions on financial literacy, banking, a domestic violence survivor’s story and an interactive session in self-defense will be offered during the fair. Admission is free.

Food drive

The Eastside Crime Watch will host a kick-off for the “Stamp Out Hunger” Post Office food drive at 11 a.m. Friday at Gleaners Food Bank, 95 Pyatt St.

Participants are asked to bring a canned food or other nonperishable food item to the food bank. The items will be collected by the postal service workers Saturday.

Powerstown Neighbors Block Watch meets at 7 p.m. today at Faith Community Covenant Church, 1919 E. Midlothian Blvd. Councilman John R. Swierz, D-7th, will attend and discuss neighborhood issues.

Stepping down

WARREN

Jeffrey M. Glebocki, president of the Raymond J. Wean Foundation since 2011, steps down from that position later this summer.

Glebocki initiated discussion with the foundation’s board and has agreed to stay on for 90 days to ease the transition, ensure the organization’s community change work continues and so that a search for a successor can be launched, according to a foundation press release.

Glebocki will return to his home base of Tucson, Ariz., to expand Strategy + Action Consulting LLC, a company he founded that serves as an adviser to philanthropic institutions around the country.

Committee meeting

Warren

The Health and Welfare committee of Warren City Council will have a meeting at 3 p.m. today in the council caucus room of the municipal justice building, 141 South St. SE. A report on the tax repayment plan with Trumbull County will be discussed.
