TeamBSS, a physical- fitness training facility that offers personal and group training, will have a formal ribbon-cutting at 10 a.m. Wednesday to mark the opening of the company’s 1221 W. Western Reserve Road location. TeamBSS provides CrossFit training and will offer CrossFit for kids this fall. BSS stands for “Because Support Strengthens.”

Services range from introducing fitness to those new to exercise, using the staff’s background in natural bodybuilding to help others get ready to compete, assisting strength athletes with their specific goals and coaching athletes to use proper form.

ChildLab open house

ChildLab Laboratory Service Center will have a formal ribbon-cutting at 2 p.m. Wednesday at its 321 Niles-Cortland Road location.SFlbParents, children and health- care providers from the Warren-area community can meet staff and tour the new facility during its open house from 3 to 6 p.m.

ChildLab will provide the community with pediatric expertise in phlebotomy in capillary and venous blood collection. The center is open from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday through Friday.

Apprentice program

The Ironworkers Local 207 Joint Apprenticeship Program is accepting applications for a class of ironworkers. Obtain a copy of the application form at 694 Bev Road or at the’ website at www.iw207.com.

Applicants must have graduated high school or earned a GED, be age 18 and able to pass a pre-employment drug screen and physical. An aptitude test and an agility test will be administered after an application has been submitted.
