April 26

Telecommunications harassment: Telecommunications harassment was reported at a home in the 40 block of Lisbon Street.

April 28

Drug abuse: Emily Palumbo, 21, of 1445 Fredericksburg Drive, Boardman, was arrested on charges of drug abuse and drug paraphernalia.

April 30

Identity theft: A case of identity theft was reported at a home in the 200 block of Montgomery Drive. A man reported his credit card was used by someone to buy gas.

May 2

Theft: A theft of 11 packages of Quilted Northern toilet paper was reported at a home in the 100 block of Surrey Lane.

May 5

Criminal damaging: A motor vehicle was vandalized, with the back windows broken out in the 300 block of block of Deer Trail Avenue.

April 29

Fraud: A victim’s Home Savings and Loan bank check was forged and cashed for $150 at a home in the 3000 block of Westminister Avenue.

Theft: A male suspect stole jewelry and other items from a family and pawned it at a home in the 100 block Covington Cove.

Theft: Money was taken at the Medicine Shoppe, 4405 Mahoning Ave.

Theft: Rachelle Alexander, 42, of 5110 Willowcrest Drive, Youngstown, was issued a summons for theft of $113 in merchandise at Kmart, 4475 Mahoning Ave.

Recovered property: An Ohio license plate was recovered at a home in the 4000 block of Westchester Avenue.

Counterfeit currency: Two $100 bills were passed at Wedgewood Lanes, 1741 S. Raccoon Road.

Theft: Christopher Rosenau, 20, of 2118 Robbins Ave., Niles, was issued a summons for theft of $29.96 in merchandise at Walmart, 6001 Mahoning Ave.

Theft: Stolen bank checks were reported at a home in the 5000 block of Yorktown Lane.

Theft: Marcus Wilkins, 25, of 546 Samuel St., Youngstown, was released on a summons for theft of $13.88 in soda at Dollar General, 1739 S. Raccoon Road.

April 30

Theft: A wallet was stolen from an auto at Pilot Oil, 1150 N. Niles-Canfield Road.

Fraud: A bank account was accessed at a home in the 5000 block of New Road.

Theft: Video games were stolen from a home in the 1000 block of Cavalcade Drive.

Theft: A subject left his cellphone at Walmart, and it was reported stolen.

Theft: A truck was entered and credit cards were stolen from it and used at Pilot Oil, 1150 N. Canfield-Niles Road.

Counterfeit currency: Five counterfeit $100 bills were passed at Kmart, 4475 Mahoning Ave.

Telecommunications harassment: A relative said he would harm the victim’s property and wouldn’t stop calling at a home in the 300 block of Rosemont Avenue.

Recovered property: A stolen Springfield Armory XD .40-caliber handgun was found in a field at County Line and North Four Mile Run roads. It was reported stolen out of Youngstown.

Warrant: Robert Mossor, 25, of 391 Miley Road, North Lima, was arrested on a warrant for telecommunications harassment.

Criminal trespassing: A male is a suspect in criminal trespassing at a home in the 200 block of Marcia Drive.

Identity theft: A false tax-return was filed at a home in the 100 block of Westchester Drive.

Theft: Ashley Young, 19, of 1619 Florence Ave., Youngstown, was issued a summons for theft of $69.91 in merchandise, and Cassandra Evans, 21, of 473 Maryland Ave., NW, C1, Warren, was issued a summons for theft of $41.97 in merchandise at Kmart.

Burglary: A burglary with an inventory of stolen items still to come took place at a home in the 4000 block of Selkirk Avenue.

May 1

Drug offense: Terrol Gill, 33, of 379 Jennings Ave., Mansfield, was issued a summons for possession of marijuana.

Fraud: Unauthorized charges to an account were reported by a woman at a home in the 1000 block Woodland Trace.

Criminal damaging: Four tires were slashed on an SUV at Bill’s Place, 4771 Mahoning Ave.

Menacing: Menacing was reported at a home in the 40 block of East Liberty Street.

Recovered property: A stolen YSU-police portable radio was recovered at Elmwood Avenue and South Raccoon Road.

Animal complaint: A dog was taken into custody by the dog warden at a home in the 500 block of Notre Dame Drive.

Criminal damaging: A van was shot by a BB pellet gun at an apartment in the 900 block of Compass West.

Theft: A cellphone was stolen at Austintown Fitch High School, 4560 Falcon Drive.

Theft: A credit card was stolen at Sheetz gas station, 5499 Mahoning Ave.

May 2

Criminal damaging: Damage to a car by something thrown at it was reported on Norquest Boulevard.

Telecommunications harassment: There is a suspect in telecommunications harassment at a home in the 90 block of Kenmar Court.

Aggravated menacing: Threats were being made by an ex-boyfriend at a home in the 5000 block of Willowcrest Drive.

Fraud: Unauthorized withdrawals were made from an account at a home in the 4000 block of Crum Road.

Menacing: Threats were reported at Little Caesar’s, 4774 Mahoning Ave.

Identity theft: A student loan of $32,621 was obtained by using a stolen identity at a home in the 1000 block of Eastwind Place.

May 3

Drug offense: Steven Jeter, 22, of 783 Donald Drive, Akron, was issued a summons for possession of marijuana.

Criminal trespassing: A subject is accused of criminal trespassing at Kmart, 4475 Mahoning Ave.

Warrant: Derryus Hicks, 26, of 1327 Atcheson St., Columbus, was arrested on a warrant for failure to appear for sentencing.

Warrant: Bruce Dawson, 26, of 2920 Roy St., Youngstown, was arrested on a warrant for burglary.

Warrant: Johnathan Gibson, 24, of 510 Francisca, Youngstown, was arrested on two warrants, for falsification and open container.

Warrant: Kyle Bryant, 23, of 1679 Fountain Square Drive, Youngstown, was arrested on a warrant for failure to appear on a traffic charge.

Theft: Fuel was stolen from a vehicle at Bob Evans Restaurant, 1100 N. Canfield-Niles Road.

Theft: A generator was stolen from Tractor Supply, 6225 Mahoning Ave.

May 4

Telecommunications harassment: An ex-boyfriend was making unwanted calls to his ex-girlfriend at a home in the 3000 block of Cannon Road.

Drug offense: Jessica Oliver, 22, of 86 Navarre Ave., Youngstown, was issued a summons for possession of marijuana.

Aggravated menacing: Brian Kelly, 55, of 110 N. Beverly Ave., was arrested on a charge of aggravated menacing.

Criminal trespassing: An individual trespassed at Casual Carpets, 4930 Mahoning Ave.

Burglary: Forced entry was made to an apartment in the 4000 block of Kirk Road, and prescription pills were taken.

Theft: A compressor was taken from a home in the 80 block of Pineview Drive.

Drug offense: Anthony Tauntas, 20, of 1232 Woodledge Drive, Mineral Ridge, was issued a summons for possession of marijuana.

Burglary: There were no signs of forced entry at a home in the 2000 block of South Meridian Road. Taken were a stereo, two sets of golf clubs, a 42-inch television, a car key and two rims.

Theft: Three MP4s were taken out of a machine at Pilot Oil, 1150 N. Canfield-Niles Road.

May 5

Criminal damaging: A man damaged his ex’s car at a home in the 30 block of South Wickliffe Circle.

Auto theft: An Ohio license-plate was stolen at a home in the 3000 block of Riblet Road.

Burglary: Several household items were taken from a home in the 3000 block of Oakwood Avenue.

Domestic violence: John McCary, 35, of 4609 Rhode Island Drive, Youngstown, was arrested on a domestic-violence charge.
