Pat Benatar to hit the Covelli on Aug. 16

YOUNGSTOWN — Pat Benatar will come to Covelli Centre Aug. 16 for a 7 p.m. concert as part of Panerathon week in the Mahoning Valley.

Tickets go on sale at 10 a.m. Monday at ticketmaster.com, the Covelli Centre box office, and by phone at 866-448-7849. Prices are $36.50, $46.50 and $62.

Benatar, who produced several platinum albums in the 1980s, will perform her hits at the concert, including “Hit Me With Your Best Shot,” “Love Is a Battlefield” and “We Belong.”

A portion of the show’s proceeds will benefit the Joanie Abdu Comprehensive Breast Care Center (JACBCC).

The concert is part of the Greatest Week in the Valley which culminates in the 4th Annual Panerathon, 10K/2 Mile Fun Walk/Run and Kids Run.

The Panerathon at the Covelli Centre is the largest community fundraising event in the area. It has raised more than $500,000 for the Abdu Center in the past three years.
