ELECTION UPDATE| McNally has small early lead#vindyvote

YOUNGSTOWN —Early voting results show a tight race in the Democratic primary for Youngstown mayor.

John A. McNally IV has 757 votes and Jamael Tito Brown has 732 votes. Mathew Smith has 31 votes.

Overall, only 2,917 people in Mahoning County voted early.

The anti-fracking Youngstown Charter amendment had 860 votes in favor to 683 votes against it.
