POLAND

At its third annual Champions for our Valley’s Children, Akron Children’s Hospital Mahoning Valley will honor Clear Channel Youngstown.

The dinner celebration will begin at 5:30 p.m. May 14 at The Lake Club in Poland. In addition, 15 individuals and organizations will receive the Children’s Advocate Award.

The Champions event will highlight Akron Children’s progress in the Valley and recognize those who have helped, including donors, volunteers, staff and community partners.

JoAnn Stock is Akron Children’s director of development.

Since the opening of the Beeghly campus in Boardman in 2008, more than $7.5 million has been donated to support the hospital.
