Harris-Howells engagement is made known

Annette and David Howells of Boardman are announcing the engagement of their son, Matt Howells, and Megan Harris, both of Columbus. She is the daughter of Christine and Harold Harris of Springfield, Ohio.

The couple’s open wedding is planned for 1:30 p.m. June 15 at St. Bernard Church, and a reception will follow at Hollenbeck Bayley Conference Center, both in Springfield. Reception invitations will be extended.

An Ohio University graduate, the bride-elect earned a bachelor’s degree in retail merchandising. She works as a merchandise planning and allocation analyst for Limited Brands in Columbus.

The prospective groom, also an OU graduate, received a bachelor’s degree in business administration. He is finance director of the Ohio Senate Democratic Caucus in Columbus.
