Two face drug charges after investigation

Members of the Trumbull Ashtabula Geauga Law Enforcement Task Force with assistance from the Trumbull County Sheriff’s Office and Warren Police searched a home at 2517 Hamilton Street Southwest.

The search was the result of a monthlong investigation involving drug trafficking from the residence. Investigators seized crack, heroin, marijuana, prescription pills, prescription cough medicine, digital scales, packaging materials, $2,676 cash and three flat-screen television sets.

Upon arriving at the residence four males, two females and two children were present. Two people were arrested and charged in Warren Municipal Court. Ronndle Lightning, 35, was charged with possession of crack/heroin and trafficking in marijuana. Tashi Johnson, 25, was charged with possession of heroin.

Charges are pending against at least two others. Six pit bulls, which weren’t licensed properly, were removed from the premises by the Warren and Trumbull County dog wardens.
