Auction to benefit stroke victim

A quarter auction will take place from 7 to 11 p.m. May 17 at the Reserve, 1057 Illinois Ave., formerly the Knights of Columbus Hall, to raise funds for Jeff Joseph. Family and friends are sponsoring the event.

Joseph, who suffered a life-altering stroke, is now in need of a kidney transplant.

Raffle tickets are $10 each, and there will be cash prizes of $5,000, $3,000 and $1,000.

Large or small donations for the auction would be appreciated. Donations can include gift certificates, gift cards and gift baskets and must be received at Tri Changes Salon, c/o Sherry Johnson, 10 S. State St., by May 10. Monetary donations should be made payable to Jeff’s Cause Fund, EIN 46-2057346, at any Home Savings Bank.
