April 17

Telecommunications harassment: The crime was reported at a home in the 200 block of Russo Drive. A man told police his wife was getting harassing voice messages on her phone.

April 18

Warrant: James Riley, 56, of 4029 Riverside Drive, Youngstown was arrested on a warrant for failure to appear in mayor’s court.

April 20:

Drug abuse: John Liszka, 21, of 61 Sawmill Run, Canfield, was arrested on charges of drug abuse and drug paraphernalia.

April 27

Drug abuse: Joseph Herns, 27, of 47 N. Schenley Ave., Youngstown was arrested on charges of drug abuse and drug paraphernalia and Sarah Stone, 29, of 553 Moherman St., Youngstown was arrested on a charge of drug abuse.

Drug trafficking: Kenneth Adams, 29, of 821 East 4th St., Salem was charged with trafficking in drugs.

April 22

Criminal damaging: A window was broken out of a vehicle on London Drive.

Auto theft: A vehicle was stolen and then involved in an accident in the 900 block of Compass West.

Criminal damaging: A vehicle was damaged at Austintown Fitch High School, 4560 Falcon Drive.

Theft: Sandra Ducksworth, 55, of 422 S. Princeton Ave., Youngstown was issued a summons, accused of shoplifting baby products at Rite Aid, 5498 Mahoning Ave.

Criminal damaging: A vehicle was damaged in the 40 block of North Canfield-Niles Road.

Burglary: Roy Hansen, 37, of 5400 Mechanicsville Road, Rome, was arrested on a warrant for burglary.

Theft: An employee’s cellphone was taken at Walmart, 6001 Mahoning Ave.

April 23

Theft: A cellphone was stolen at Bill’s Place, 4771 Mahoning Ave.

Criminal damaging: A mailbox was damaged at a home in the 500 block of New Road.

Burglary: Video-game consoles and games were taken at a home in the 2000 block of Elm Trace Street.

Theft : A makeup case with three prescription bottles was stolen at a home in the 3000 block of Eigen Street.

Theft: Video games were stolen at a home in the 100 block of South Main Street.

Theft: A gold Masonic ring was stolen at the Hampton Inn, 880 North Canfield-Niles Road.

Illegal dumping: Garbage bags were added to a resident’s trash collection at a home in the 300 block of Rosemont Avenue.

April 24

Identity theft: A fraudulent account was created at a home in the 2000 block of Idlewood Road.

Aggravated burglary: A safe was taken from the basement of a home in the 4000 block of Pine Trace Drive.

Theft: Mark Verostko, 19, of 4525 New Hampshire Circle, No. 10, Youngstown was released on a summons for theft of a digital converter at Kmart, 4475 Mahoning Ave.

Telecommunications harassment: There is a suspect in telecommunications harassment at a home in the 100 block of Westminster Avenue.

Recovered property: A men’s wallet was recovered at KFC, 4642 Mahoning Ave.

Theft: A 12-pack of Corona beer was stolen at Sheetz, 5499 Mahoning Ave.

April 25

Domestic violence: Donald Moke, 46, of 414 Brown St., Niles was arrested in connection with domestic violence.

Theft: Two ATM withdrawals were made against another’s account at a home in the 5000 block of Yorktown Lane.

Burglary: A Samsung Galaxy tablet was taken at a home in the 4000 block of Deer Creek Court.

Telecommunications harassment: There is a suspect in telecommunications harassment at a home in the 3000 block of Monaca Avenue.

Drug offense: Thomas Emler, 20, of 4918 E. Radio Road, Austintown was issued a summons for drug abuse of marijuana and drug paraphernalia.

Disorderly conduct: Ashley Santiago, 24,of 40 N. Osborne Ave., Youngstown was issued a summons for disorderly conduct.

April 26

Fraud: Unauthorized charges were made to an account at a home in the 3000 block of East Street.

Theft: An auto was broken into in the 5000 block of Interstate Boulevard.

Warrant: Brandice Shaffer, 32, of 39 Halls Heights Ave., Youngstown was arrested on a warrant for receiving stolen property.

Theft: Patricia Robbins, 49, of 175 Rhoda Ave., Youngstown was released on a summons, accused of theft of $39.34 in merchandise at Walmart, 6001 Mahoning Ave.

Weapons offense: Dylan Samargia, 21, of 273 Westminster Ave., was arrested on a charge of drug abuse of marijuana and improper handling of a firearm, a handgun, and a loaded magazine in the rear of the vehicle.

April 27

Telecommunications harassment: An unwanted text was reported at a home in the 3000 block of Idlewood Road.

Telecommunications harassment: A woman was the victim of telecommunications harassment at a home in the 2000 block of South Raccoon Road.

Warrant: Aimee Beelen, 27,of 2520 South Raccoon Road, was arrested on a warrant for contempt of court.

Telecommunications harassment: A son was making harassing phone calls at a home in the 200 block of Westminster Avenue.

Warrant: Anthony Barbero, 32, homeless, was arrested on a warrant, for unauthorized use of a motor vehicle and criminal trespassing.

April 28

Counterfeit currency: Two counterfeit $20 bills were found in the parking lot at Walmart.

Theft: A registration sticker was stolen from an auto at a home in the 4000 block of Burkey Road.

Drug offense: Michael Zandarski, 25, of 325 N. Turner Road, was arrested on charges of possession of drug abuse instruments and drug paraphernalia.

Burglary: An LCD television was stolen from a home in the 10 block of Peggy Lane.
