Teacher dies after having heart attack in class

EUCLID, Ohio (AP) -- A 42-year-old teacher who collapsed in his middle-school classroom died of a heart attack, the coroner ruled.
Brian Detlev, a substitute teacher at Euclid Central Middle School in this Cleveland suburb, died Wednesday at Richmond Heights Hospital after collapsing in front of his sixth-grade class. Students pushed the call button in the classroom to alert the office.
Dr. Elizabeth Balraj, the Cuyahoga County coroner, ruled Thursday that Detlev died of a heart attack.
