XNEW SPRINGFIELD -- The July 28 wedding of Lindsay Alayne Gibson, a daughter of Allen and Elaine Gibson of New Springfield, and Michael Joseph Morris, a son of Connie Morris of McDonald, took place at Emmanuel Lutheran Church in New Springfield.
The Rev. Frank Podolinski officiated.
Before leaving for a wedding trip to Ocean City, Md., the couple were honored during an evening reception held at The Georgetown in Boardman.
Celadon-green gowns were worn by Melissa Miller of Columbiana, sister of the bride, and the bridesmaids, Lori Shandor of New Springfield; Sara Grope and Amy Gedra, both of Poland; and Darla Franjko of Virginia Beach, Va. Flower girl was Gianna Mediate of McDonald.
Serving as best man was the couple's son, Caidan Gibson-Morris, and groomsmen were Mark Tepsich of Kent; Marty Cisine of Hollywood, Fla.; Jonathan Klug of Columbus; and the bride's brother-in-law, Todd Miller of Columbiana. Ring bearer was Wyatt Miller, the bride's nephew.
Mrs. Morris graduated from Youngstown State University with a degree in history.
Mr. Morris received a bachelor's degree in psychology and his master's degree in physical therapy from Wheeling Jesuit University in Wheeling, W.Va. He is employed at Boniface Orthopedics and Rehabilitation in Boardman.
