XSHAKER HEIGHTS --Laura Theresa Donlin and Dr. Matthew Stewart Hepinstall, both of 220 E. 70th St., New York City, were married at 2:30 p.m. Aug. 19 at St. Dominic Church by the Rev. Timothy O'Neill.
A reception was held afterward at The Club at Hillbrook, Hunting Valley.
The bride is a daughter of Atty. Patrick J. Donlin Sr., 308 Porter St. N.E., Warren, and the late Barbara Donlin. The groom's parents are Katherine Stewart and David Hepinstall of New York City.
The bride wore a white off-the-shoulder-style gown.
Sarah Marchal was the honor attendant, and bridesmaids were Kristina Massey, Colleen Clancy, Kelly Pavone and Susan Gutierrez. Flower girls were Lainey Dubyak and Madeleine Lenahan. The attendants wore mauve gowns.
Joseph Rillotta was best man, and groomsmen were Scott Freemon, Jesse Foley, Jared Whitson and James McKinnell. Ring bearer was Oscar Rasin, and ushers were Patrick Donlin Jr., Joseph Donlin, Jeffrey Hepinstall and Michael Hepinstall.
The bride, a native of Hubbard, received a bachelor's degree in biology from Villanova University and a doctorate in molecular biology and immunology from Columbia University. She is a post-doctoral research fellow at Rockefeller University in New York City and serves as a consultant to a number of nonprofit organizations.
The groom, a resident in orthopedic surgery at Lenox Hill Hospital in New York City, attended Columbia University and received a bachelor's degree in neuroscience from Pomona College and his medical degree from Columbia University College of Physicians and Surgeons. He is also the executive director of the Association for Energy Affordability in New York City.
