XYOUNGSTOWN -- Monsignor Peter Polando officiated at 2 p.m. July 29 at St. Matthias Church as Christina Quaranta and William Duritza were united in marriage.
After accepting congratulations during an evening reception at St. Nicholas Byzantine Center, the couple left on a wedding trip to Las Vegas.
They live at 1534 Brownlee Ave.
Parents of the bride are Gerald Quaranta, 6041 Applecrest Drive, Boardman, and Joan Quaranta, Vevay, Ind.
The groom is a son of William and Carol Duritza, 1529 Brownlee Ave.
Enhanced with crystals and beading, the bride's strapless A-line gown featured an asymmetrical bodice.
Fuchsia gowns were worn by the honor attendant, Lalah Iacobucci, and the bridesmaids, Julie Ischkum, Jeanne Sutton, Sarah Quaranta, Sherry Huff, Jenn DeCenso and Lesley Furgan. Flower girl was Kamryn Duritza.
The duties of best man were performed by Darren Burich, and serving as groomsmen were Bob Duritza, Nick Duritza, Jerry Quaranta, Joe Maloney, Matt Polkovitch and Jim Sosnowski. Ring bearer was Rivon Greathouse.
The bride graduated from Youngstown State University with a bachelor's degree in human resource management. She is a daily rating representative with Alltel in Boardman.
The groom, a manager with Giant Eagle in Boardman, earned a bachelor's degree in business management at YSU.
