MOUNT UNION COLLEGE, ALLIANCE, OHIO
Leah Wetherald, a junior math and education major from Lisbon, received the $1,000 Trumbull County Heating and Air Conditioning Association scholarship. She is vice president of Mount Union's chapter of Habitat for Humanity.
OHIO UNIVERSITY, ATHENS
Meghan E. Louttit of New Middletown, has been inducted into Sigma Alpha Lambda, national leadership and honors society.
Andrew Laboy of Youngstown was part of a student-run production company that recently won its third consecutive regional Emmy. Laboy served as lead gaffer for Par-T-Com Productions, LLC, founded by Ohio University students, which received the Student Production Award from the Ohio Valley National Academy of Television Arts & amp; Sciences Emmys for the film & quot;Rough Road to Glory: The Rodney Sullivan Story. & quot; The & quot;mockumentary & quot; tells the story of professional paper airplane competitor Rodney Sullivan, who was pulled off the pro circuit because of a shoulder injury.
BALDWIN-WALLACE COLLEGE, BEREA, OHIO
Michael Finamore of Boardman, who earned a bachelor of science degree in chemistry from Baldwin-Wallace this year, has been selected as the 2006 recipient of Omicron Delta Kappa's Thomas and Diane Vukovich Scholarship. Omicron Delta Kappa is a national leadership honor society. Finamore is entering the Ohio University College of Osteopathic Medicine to prepare for a career as an anesthesiologist.

Alexis DiSilvestro of New Castle, a senior chemistry and Spanish major, has been inducted into Phi Lambda Upsilon, the national chemistry honor society. She is the daughter of John DiSilvestro and Janice Lyons.
