'OUT OF THIS WORLD!' 'Sesame Street' characters prepare for a return visit

YOUNGSTOWN -- What happens when Martians land on Sesame Street? What do all Earthlings have in common?
Children and their families are invited to find out in a cosmic journey with Big Bird, Grover, Elmo and the rest of the Sesame Street Live friends in "Out of This World!"
The show comes to Powers Auditorium for an eight-performance run from March 30 to April 2.
Tickets go on sale Feb. 13.
An average "sunny day" becomes extraordinary when Terry, Sesame Street's fix-it girl, and her Muppet friends teach their intergalactic visitors all about Earth. Grover shares some of his recent global adventures, and children learn that Sesame Street is internationally loved.
The live show includes popular segments such as "Elmo's World" and "Journey to Ernie," as well as a letter and number of the day. In the process, Sesame Street Live friends teach children how much we have in common regardless of the languages we speak, the way we look, or even the way we dance.
Like television's "Sesame Street," the live production offers timeless lessons for all ages. Through the razzle-dazzle of a full-blown Broadway-quality production, children learn about patience, cooperation and teamwork.
The universal appeal of a Sesame Street Live experience continues long after preschool. Adults will appreciate the high-tech stagecraft, cleverly written scripts and music they'll recognize from their childhood.
"Out of This World" features a wide variety of songs, many of them renditions of tunes that parents will remember and kids will love: "The Hokey Pokey," "Disco Duck" and "We Are Family."
