UW-Milwaukee is 7-1 in the Horizon and in the top spot in the standings. The Panthers defeated Detroit 72-71 at Detroit and Wright State 61-54 in their last two games. YSU won its first game against the Ramblers last season at Beeghly Center, 62-55. Loyola opened the season with 13 straight losses, but have won two of its last five all in Horizon League play. The Ramblers are coming off an 85-77 overtime win at home against Wright State. Both Loyola wins have come at home this year.Next up: The Penguins will wind up their three-game road trip at Illinois-Chicago on Saturday in a 7 p.m. tip-off and then return home for a three-game stand beginning on Feb. 2 against Butler at 5:15 p.m.
