Diocese campaign judged best by council

YOUNGSTOWN -- The Catholic Diocese of Youngstown's recent capital campaign, aimed at stewardship, was judged as the best "Total Capital Campaign Effort" of all dioceses involved during the International Catholic Stewardship Council held in October in San Francisco.
Each year the ICSC, which involves members from the United States, Canada, Mexico, Europe and Australia, recognizes dioceses and parishes that have best promoted the theology of stewardship during the year.
Pat Palumbo, director of development for the Youngstown diocese, coordinated the project.
The firm of Sweeney and Associates, Boardman, did the graphic design of campaign printed materials. Mark Munroe of Compco Communications in Columbiana completed the video production and editing. Guidance in Giving Inc. provided campaign direction and consultation.
The diocese received a first-place plaque with the passage from Romans 12: 6-11, "God has given each of us the ability to do certain things well."
