Girard driver cited in two municipalities

YOUNGSTOWN -- A Girard man faces numerous traffic violations in Youngstown and Girard municipal courts.
Police said Brandon Foy, 23, of Smithsonian Street, lost control of his car around 6:30 p.m. Wednesday and struck a pole at Covington and Harlem on the city's North Side.
Police found Foy had warrants from Liberty police charging him with failure to appear in court on traffic violations. He appeared before Judge Michael Bernard in Girard Municipal Court on Thursday, pleaded innocent and was released on $5,000 bond in the Liberty violations. He is due back in court in Girard on Wednesday.
Youngstown police charged Foy with driving under suspension and failure to control.
