Three indicted on variety of charges by grand jury

The man who was shot by a cop killer has been accused of shooting someone.
YOUNGSTOWN -- A Mahoning County grand jury indicted a former parent-teacher association treasurer, a former county employee and a shooting victim of cop killer Martin J. Koliser on various charges.
Melissa R. Crago, 26, of Riblett Road, Austintown, is indicted on one count of theft in a $2,000 discrepancy in her accounting for John W. Davis Elementary PTA.
Carmine Ramunno, 23, of Edison Street, Struthers, is indicted on a charge of receiving stolen property. Ramunno was arrested in December in a burglary at a home on Overlook Boulevard in Boardman, where jewelry was taken. He was then fired in December from the county sanitary engineer's department, where he worked as a technician and recorded location of manholes using a Global Positioning System.
Donell J. Rowe, 26, of East Avondale Avenue, Youngstown, is indicted on a charge of felonious assault with a firearm specification, illegal possession of a firearm in a liquor permit premises and illegal possession of a weapon or weapons.
Youngstown police said Rowe shot Justin Salata, 27, of Pointview Avenue in the abdomen during an argument in December near South Heights and Sheridan avenues.
Rowe made news April 29, 2003, when he was shot by Martin J. Koliser Jr. outside a bar on Youngstown's West Side. Koliser then shot and killed city Patrolman Michael T. Hartzell in downtown Youngstown.
