Officials fire workers after teen disappears

COLUMBUS (AP) -- Two workers responsible for watching a woman who is developmentally disabled who disappeared for several days have been fired, county officials said.
The workers -- employed by a private agency -- were subcontracted by the county to watch Sarah Kinney, 18, at her apartment in suburban Grove City.
Kinney was missing from Thursday until Wednesday morning when she met with Franklin County Children Service workers. She is well and "came forward voluntarily," said John Saros, the agency's executive director. He declined to provide further details, saying that Kinney has asked that no additional information be given out and that her privacy be respected.
