Theft: A woman in the 900 block of North Main Street reported a glass-top table and four chairs stolen from her porch. The loss was almost $200.

Jan. 4
Misuse of credit cards: A Boardman man reported his credit cards were used without permission at Target, 417 Boardman-Poland Road, to make more than $500 worth of purchases.
Theft: A worker at TR Equipment Rental, 4172 Market St., said a customer rented and failed to return property.
Theft: A woman in the 700 block of Orlo Lane reported the theft of two rocking chairs from her porch.
Theft: Officers arrested a 37-year-old Boardman man on a theft charge. He was accused of taking video games from Sam's Club, 6361 South Ave.
Arrest: After responding to a hang-up 911 call, police arrested a Youngstown woman, 49, after learning she was wanted on three warrants from Youngstown. Charges included possession of drug paraphernalia and loitering in prostitution.
Arrests: While conducting a traffic stop, police arrested a 24-year-old Youngstown man on charges of carrying a concealed weapon, endangering children, operating a vehicle under the influence and having an open container of alcohol. Officers say four small children were in the car without safety restraints, and that a small knife was under the driver's seat. The 22-year-old passenger was arrested on a traffic warrant.
Recovered property: Police discovered a vehicle that had been stolen in Youngstown, at the Microtel Inn, 7393 South Ave.

Criminal damage: A man found four windows at his residence in the 7600 block of Indian Trail had been damaged by BBs.
Bad check: A worker at Home Savings and Loan, 4005 Hillman Way, was presented a counterfeit check.
Theft: A Boardman woman returned to her vehicle at Old Navy, 377 Boardman-Poland Road, and noticed items missing.
Breaking and entering: Someone broke into Uptown Pizza Shop, 4605 Market St. It was undisclosed if anything was stolen.
Arrest: Boardman police arrested a 22-year-old Youngstown man at the Mahoning County jail on one count of robbery.
Arrest: A 19-year-old Youngstown man was taken into custody at Target and charged with a misdemeanor count of receiving stolen property. He also was wanted on a felony warrant charging him with the same crime.
Arrest: Police picked up a New Middletown woman, 25, near Burlington Coat Factory, 461 Boardman-Canfield Road. She was wanted on a felony warrant charging her with theft.

Theft: A Youngstown man reported the theft of a cellular phone while at Cafe Capri, 8000 Market St.
Theft: Clothing was stolen from the J.C. Penney store in the Southern Park Mall, and an 18-year-old Youngstown man faced a theft count.
Theft: A woman reported checks stolen from her purse at her home in the 60 block of Melrose Avenue.
Stolen property: Police arrested a Youngstown man, 20, at the Southern Park Mall and charged him with receiving stolen property after discovering a stolen car there.
Robbery: A Youngstown woman told police someone grabbed her purse while she was at Radio Shack, 7131 Tiffany Blvd.
Truck theft: A man reported his truck stolen while he was at a Speedway station, 649 E. Midlothian Blvd.
Domestic violence: A 30-year-old Struthers woman was arrested on West Boulevard. She was wanted on a warrant from Struthers accusing her of domestic violence.
Drugs: A Poland man, 36, was picked up at the Microtel Inn and charged with possession of drug paraphernalia.
Citation: During a traffic stop, officers cited a 20-year-old Youngstown man on a charge of possession of marijuana.
Arrests: Three girls, two age 16, one age 15 and all from Poland, as well as a 17-year-old Boardman boy were arrested near Kentwood Drive and charged with criminal mischief. One girl also was charged with littering from a motor vehicle.
Arrest: Police took into custody a 24-year-old Boardman man on Shields Road. He faced charges of domestic violence, menacing and intimidation, a felony.
Jan. 7
Criminal damage: A woman in the 400 block of Annawan Drive reported a side mirror and a window on her vehicle were broken.
Theft: A woman in the 4000 block of South Avenue told police that a jar containing money was missing.
Theft: A Youngstown woman, 19, was charged with theft after being accused of stealing merchandise from Kaufmann's in the Southern Park Mall.
Theft: Officers apprehended a 31-year-old Youngstown man on charges of theft and obstructing official business. He was accused of taking two boxes of medications from Giant Eagle, 476 Boardman-Canfield Road, and providing false information regarding his identity.
Theft: Someone stole a wireless home surveillance system from Radio Shack, 7385 Market St.
Theft: A Boardman man reported his bicycle stolen while at Vertigo Skate Park, 215 McClurg Road. Another man discovered his cellular phone was stolen.
Drugs: After pulling their vehicle over, police arrested a Youngstown man, 47, and a New Middletown man, 44. The older suspect was charged with possession of crack cocaine and was wanted on felony warrants from Youngstown charging him with trafficking in crack cocaine; the other man was charged with possession of drugs and possession of drug paraphernalia. Authorities say they found two bags containing a large amount of suspected crack cocaine as well as a rock of suspected crack cocaine and a suspected crack pipe.
Theft: A woman in the 7000 block of West Boulevard reported a temporary license plate stolen off her vehicle.
Assault: A Boardman man called police after being struck in the head while at the YMCA, 45 McClurg Road.
Drugs: While investigating someone acting suspiciously at Wal-Mart, 1300 Doral Drive, police arrested a Youngstown man, 36, and charged him with possession of drug paraphernalia. Officers say they found a suspected crack pipe in his pocket.
Vandalism: Officers found out someone spray-painted a wall near the Boardman Police Department's substation, 5000 Market St.
Vandalism: A woman in the 600 block of Angiline Drive discovered damage to her residence.
Citation: During a traffic stop, police cited a 25-year-old Youngstown woman on charges of disorderly conduct and possession of marijuana. Officers say she admitted having suspected marijuana in her car.

Criminal damage: A man in the 7500 block of Eisenhower Drive reported his mailbox destroyed.
Criminal damage: A man in the 7400 block of Indian Trail discovered damage to a lamp post in his yard.
Theft: A 14-year-old Youngstown boy was charged with theft after four pairs of earrings were stolen from the J.C. Penney store.
Recovered property: Police found a stolen vehicle in the Target parking lot. The car had been stolen in Beaver Falls, Pa.
Theft: Officers apprehended a Youngstown woman, 29, on a theft charge after items were stolen from Giant Eagle, 1201 Doral Drive.
Arrest: Police took a 45-year-old Youngstown man into custody after realizing he was wanted on a warrant from Boardman charging him with receiving stolen property.
Drugs: After pulling over a car, police charged a 25-year-old Boardman man with drug abuse and operating a vehicle under the influence. Officers say they found suspected marijuana.
Arrest: While investigating suspicious people near the Boardman Plaza on U.S. Route 224, police arrested a Boardman woman, 22. She was wanted on a warrant from Trumbull County charging her with passing bad checks.
