MEN'S TOP 25 TUESDAY'S GAMES

No. 20 North Carolina 64, Virginia Tech 61
BLACKSBURG, Va. (AP) -- Freshman Tyler Hansbrough scored four of his 20 points in the final 1:07 and grabbed nine rebounds as No. 20 North Carolina held off Virginia Tech 64-61, the Tar Heels' 18th consecutive victory over the Hokies.
North Carolina (10-2, 2-0 Atlantic Coast Conference) also got 10 points from foul-plagued David Noel and nine from Reyshawn Terry, seven over the last 7:37. Virginia Tech (10-6, 0-3) got 17 points from Wyton Witherspoon in his first start of the season and 13 from Zabian Dowdell, but failed to get several rebounds after misses by the Tar Heels in the final minute, allowing North Carolina to win its fourth straight overall. North Carolina outrebounded the Hokies 39-26 and limited Coleman Collins, the No. 3 scorer in the ACC with a 17.9 average, to seven points and three rebounds.
No. 21 Wisconsin 64, Minnesota 62
MINNEAPOLIS -- Alando Tucker had 22 points and 10 rebounds to lead No. 21 Wisconsin to a tense 64-62 victory over Minnesota. Brian Butch added 12 points and eight rebounds for the Badgers (13-2, 3-0 Big Ten), who led by 19 points in the first half and by 14 early in the second before nearly letting the game slip away. Vincent Grier had 17 points and 11 rebounds and reserve Rico Tucker had 17 points and four steals for Minnesota (9-4, 0-2), which was badly in need of a quality win at home having already lost to Gardner-Webb and Northwestern at Williams Arena.
Missouri 71, No. 22 Oklahoma 69
NORMAN, Okla. -- Marshall Brown scored a career-high 21 points, including the two free throws with 1.8 seconds left that lifted Missouri to its fifth straight victory, 71-69 over No. 22 Oklahoma. After having the ball knocked away by Terrell Everett, Missouri's Jimmy McKinney recovered it on the floor and passed to Brown in the left corner. Brown elevated for a 3-pointer and officials called Taj Gray for a foul. Brown missed the first free throw before hitting the second and third. Everett, who also missed a layup at the end of Oklahoma's 59-58 loss to Nebraska on Saturday, bounced a desperation halfcourt shot off the backboard at the buzzer. Thomas Gardner, the Big 12's leading scorer at 19.9 points per game, added 21 points for Missouri (9-4, 2-0 Big 12), which overcame Oklahoma's 39-26 rebounding advantage to snap the Sooners' 10-game homecourt winning streak.
Oklahoma (9-4, 0-2) had led most of the second half after Gray had a layup and a right-handed fast-break dunk in a spurt of six straight points that put the Sooners up 39-32.
