Bowker leads Crestview win



She hit 10 of 11 free throws and had 20 points to beat United 65-56.
COLUMBIANA -- Chelsea Bowker made 10 of 11 shots from the free throw line and scored 20 points Monday as the Crestview High girls basketball team defeated United, 65-56, in a Tri-County League game.
Brianne Phillis added 18 points for Crestview (10-1, 4-1), which outscored United 23-6 in the fourth quarter.
Elyse Mongillo added 13 points, seven assists and three steals for the Rebels. Bowker had 15 rebounds and Phillis had 11 assists and three steals.
Lindsay Firth had 18 points, 11 rebounds and six blocks for United (2-8, 1-3). Allison Graham had 12 points and Darlene Woolf had seven points and five assists.
Lisbon 65, Southern 29
LISBON -- Emily Smith had 17 points and six steals, while Erica Sims added 14 points and nine rebounds for the Blue Devils (9-1, 4-1 TCL).
Emma DeFilippo had nine points and seven rebounds while Caitlin Glenn had seven points and five assists for the Devils.
Seqirra Grim had 17 points to lead Southern (3-6, 0-5).
Columbiana 57,East Palestine 47
COLUMBIANA -- Krista Johnson scored 23 points and made six assists and four steals for the Clippers (9-2, 4-1 TCL).
Kristina Davidson scored 15 points while Katie Douglas had 10 points and 10 rebounds.
For East Palestine (2-4, 1-2), Sam Dicello scored 13 points.
Mathews 44, Py Valley 41 (OT)
VIENNA -- Laura Wise hit a 3-point basket with two seconds left in overtime to tie the game and Mathews went on to defeat Pymatuning Valley.
The Mustangs (7-3) remained unbeaten in the North East Athletic Conference (4-0), while Py Valley fell to 6-3 (2-2).
Lauren Roscoe led the Mustangs with 16 points, while Susannah Haines had 14 points to lead Py Valley.
Sharon 81, Greenville 25
GREENVILLE -- The Tigers (13-1, 6-0) were in commanding of the District 10, Region 1-AA game, 51-16 at intermission.
Sharon connected on 30 of 60 field goal attempts and it tossed in 17-of-21 free throws.
Janine McDonald, Brittany Csatlos and Cara Dolci sparked the Tigers with 22, 17 and 15 points respectively.
McDonald and Aryn Christman each grabbed six rebounds. Csatlos had six assists and four steals and Dolci had five assists and four steals.
