KNOXVILLE, Tenn. -- Sidney Spencer scored a career-high 21 points, including four key free throws in the final two minutes and Tennessee outlasted Connecticut to add another classic game in this storied rivalry. Candace Parker, Tye'sha Fluker, and Shanna Zolman each added 13 points, and Alexis Hornbuckle had 14 rebounds, 10 points and nine assists for the Vols (15-0). UConn (12-2) lost for the first time in Knoxville since 2001 and dropped back-to-back games to Tennessee for the first time since 1998 and 1999. The Lady Vols ended their six-game losing streak to the Huskies last year. UConn leads the all-time series 13-8, which includes six matchups in the Final Four.

BATON ROUGE, La. -- Seimone Augustus and Sylvia Fowles each scored 21 points, and Scholanda Hoston helped key a second-half burst of 15 straight points by the Lady Tigers (13-0). Hoston finished with 14 points. Natasha Williams led the Golden Gophers (9-3) with 15. Minnesota's defense forced the Lady Tigers to miss 16 straight field goal attempts in the first half, and the Gophers led 23-19 at halftime.
No. 4 Baylor 61, No. 23 Texas 48
WACO, Texas -- Sophia Young scored 25 points, most of her baskets coming when Baylor needed a spark, and the Lady Bears beat Texas to extend their home-court winning streak to 23 games. Just three days after the defending national champions had their overall 30-game winning streak snapped at Missouri, the Lady Bears (11-1, 1-1 Big 12) trailed just twice. Young, who also had 15 rebounds, pushed Baylor back in front both times.

EAST LANSING, Mich. -- Lindsay Bowen scored 22 points to lead Michigan State in the first matchup between the two nationally prominent teams. Rutgers' Essence Carson missed from near the foul line as time expired, extending Michigan State's school-record homecourt winning streak to 22 games. The Spartans (12-3) beat a top 10 team for the first time this season after losing their first three opportunities. Liz Shimek scored 19 points for Michigan State. Cappie Pondexter had 24 points to lead Rutgers (10-2) before fouling out late in the game. Carson added 17 points.
Seton Hall 74, No. 12 Notre Dame 61
SOUTH BEND, Ind. -- Heta Korpivaara scored 13 of her 18 points in the second half, including six points during a decisive 17-6 run, to lead Seton Hall to the upset. The loss was the third straight for the Irish (9-4, 0-2), their longest losing streak in eight years. The victory was the first for Seton Hall (5-8, 0-2) against a ranked team since beating No. 23 Notre Dame 51-48 in South Orange on Feb. 8, 2004.

NORMAN, Okla. -- Courtney Paris notched her NCAA-leading 12th double-double with 15 points and 17 rebounds, and Erin Higgins became Oklahoma's all-time leading 3-point shooter. Kendra Moore scored 12 points and Chelsi Welch, who'd averaged 21.5 after being inserted into the starting lineup two games ago, added 11 for the Sooners (12-3, 2-0 Big 12), who never trailed.

FORT COLLINS, Colo. -- Abbie Letz scored 22 points and grabbed 10 rebounds to lead New Mexico over Colorado State. Dionne Marsh scored 15 of her 16 points in the second half and Katie Montgomery added 15 points for the Lobos (12-3, 2-0 MWC). Jana Francis had 10 points and 11 rebounds for her first career double-double.
BYU 61, No. 22 Utah 60
SALT LAKE CITY -- Mallary Gillespie's putback at the buzzer lifted BYU over Utah. BYU (12-1, 2-0 Mountain West Conference) was trailing 60-59 when Ambrosia Anderson missed a 20-footer with 2 seconds left. Gillespie grabbed the rebound and scored as time expired.
