LAKE WALES, Fla. -- Geneva's Nate Conley missed a 3-pointer with four seconds left in the Warner Southern College tournament. Kyle McDermott led all scorers with 25 points in 26 minutes. Greg McDivitt added nine points, while Conley had nine points and 10 assists for the Golden Tornadoes (7-8), who couldn't hold a 12-point first half lead. Geneva committed 20 turnovers and made just 7 of 30 (23 percent) from behind the arc. Conley and Burns combined to shoot 5 of 19 from 3-point range. Warner Southern (9-11) made 15 of 27 (56 percent) from the field in the second half. Tamar Lee scored 17 points, Micah McCoy had 16 and Cameron Byrd had 13 to lead the Royals.
WOMEN
Geneva 59, Carlow 45
BEAVER FALLS, Pa. -- Allyson Clarke scored 17 points off the bench and reserve Kylee Kittner added 10 to lead Geneva (6-5, 3-1) in an American Mideast Conference game. Jen Rawding had 13 points.
